Pre Swim Team (Ages 7-9, 10-13)
Supervisor: Jackie Sturtz
Prerequisite: Must receive passing
recommendation from Kids Swim 4 prior
to registering for this level.
This level progresses from the previous level by
introducing competitive swimming. All four strokes
will travel further distances and swimmers will use
competition starts, stops and timing. Diving blocks
and flip turns are also used.

Jr. Lifeguard Silver (Ages 9-13)
Supervisor: Jackie Sturtz
Students will receive instruction in water safety and
lifeguarding skills, as well as First Aid and CPR.
Junior Lifeguards must be able to swim 50 yards
using the crawl or breaststroke, surface dive and
retrieve a 10 LB brick from a depth of 4 feet., and
swim underwater for 10 feet.

Jr. Lifeguard Gold (Ages 14-15)
Supervisor: Jackie Sturtz
Students will receive instruction in water safety,
public relations, facility operations, teamwork,
leadership skills, basic work skills, lifeguarding
skills, First Aid and CPR/AED use. With successful
completion of the course, students will receive
certification as International Pool and Waterpark
Junior Lifeguards. Course fee includes books,
certification, and supplies. Class size is limited so
register early.

Adult Beginner Swim (Ages 18+)
Supervisor: Jackie Sturtz
This adult only class is for adults with very little or no
experience swimming. This class focuses on the basics
of swimming needed to be comfortable in the aquatic
environment. Skill work includes floating, gliding,
kicking and arm motions with an introduction to
freestyle and backstroke.
Class does not meet: F, Jul 4 or Sa, Jul 5
Min 4/Max 7
Adult Stroke Development (Ages18+)
Supervisor: Jackie Sturtz
Prerequisite: Adults should have basic
swimming skills and be comfortable in the
water prior to entering this class.
This class is for the adult looking to increase their
swimming abilities through developing the four
main strokes. The emphasis of this class is developing
technique in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and an
introduction to the butterfly.
