Fitzgerald 1925 novel. Nick Carraway (Sam
Waterston) is a young man from the Midwest living
modestly among the decadent mansions of 1920s
Long Island. He becomes involved in the life of the
mysterious Jay Gatsby (Robert Redford), a rich
man who throws the most lavish parties on the
island. But behind Gastby's outgoing demeanor is
a lonely man who wants nothing more than to be
with his old love, Daisy (Mia Farrow).

just out of high school who have jobs at the same
pizza parlor in the resort community of Mystic,
Connecticut. Find out who falls in love with the
rich snob, who falls for the future star gazer, who
dreams of inheriting the pizza place and the truth
about the mysterious secret sauce, in this light
hearted comedy about maturing into adulthood.

in festive attire! The event will begin with drinks,
socializing and enjoying the holiday décor, followed
by lunch and dessert. Driving to the event? Parking
restrictions on Euclid will be lifted for the Holiday
Party.

Enjoy an evening of tasting and socializing at
Cheney Mansion! The night among friends begins
at 6pm with an assortment of hors d'oeuvres and
sweets to sample. Music and champagne will help
to liven the evening, but make sure to take time to
explore this beautiful 12,000 square foot mansion
designed in 1913 by Charles E. White Jr., a student
of Frank Lloyd Wright. Space is limited to 40.

Spend the morning with us as we explore The
Art Institute of Chicago! This museum located in
Chicago's Grant Park displays a vast, permanent
collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist
works. Its holding also includes American art, Old
Masters, decorative arts, Asian art, modern and
contemporary art, and graphic design . . . to name a
few! Bus pick up will be at 9:15 at Fox Center (824 S.
Oak Park Ave.) Active Adult Members may participate
for free but must register.

around Lake Geneva. We will also have time to shop
and explore the local shops in this quaint, Wisconsin,

Starved Rock Fall Color Tour

Don't miss seeing FALL COLORS at one of the best
leaf peeping places in the Midwest! Tour includes a
relaxing trolley ride, hot lunch in the rustic Starved
Rock Dining Room and a guided, scenic walk. The
walk is less than a mile and will take approximately 45
minutes. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear as the
trails are not paved. Bus pick up will be at 8:30am at
Fox Center (624 S. Oak Park Ave.)
