22 Tackle That Axel Supervisor: Kyle Sandine Prerequisite: Skaters must be currently enrolled in Free Skate 6 and up to enroll for this class. One of the most difficult jumps to master is the Axel Jump. This class gives skaters the opportunity to focus on this jump and work closely with the instructor on the key elements necessary to achieving this jump. Min 4/Max 8 Class does not meet: 3/28-4/4 Power Supervisor: Kyle Sandine This class is set up to increase the skaters' power, control and endurance. The skater will be working on different drills and skills to become quicker and stronger. This class will be a great on-ice work out. Low Power skaters must be in levels Basic 3-8. Freestyle 5) Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing permission from the program coordinator prior to entering this class. Building from the previous level, Bronze Free Skate will work on landing the axel and develop a lutz/ loop jump combination, layback spin, back camel spin, backward power three turns in circle and straight line brackets. The first 20 minutes of class will be a warm-up and edge class. Axel must be landed consistently to move to Advance Jumps and Spins. Min 4/Max 10 Class does not meet: 3/28-4/4 Advance Jump & Spin Supervisor: Kyle Sandine Prerequisite: Must receive passing permission from the program coordinator prior to entering this level. Building from the previous level, Advance Jump and Spin will develop double jumps and advanced spinning including flying camel and flying sit spin, illusions, continuous walleys, rockers and counters in pattern. The first 20 minutes of class will be a warm-up and edge class. Min 4/Max 10 Class does not meet: 3/28-4/4 SKATING New! Holiday Skating Exhibition (Ages 7-18) Tu, Dec 23 from 4:15-7:15P Join us for a Holiday Exhibition to celebrate the season and showcase your skating! Skaters Freeskate 1 and above will be able to perform an original routine to a holiday piece of music of their choice, 1-1:30 minute in length. Bring your family and friends to watch for a $1 admission. Hair and makeup will be professionally done prior to the show!
