37 EARLY CHILDHOOD Language Learners: Spanish Supervisor: Laura Sowers In these classes young language learners will be exposed to Spanish words and phrases as they socialize and interact with their peers during small and large group activities. Art, music, and stories will be part of the fun as participants gain an appreciation for other cultures. This is an introductory class that will involve repetition to increase exposure, comprehension, and connections to everyday activities that are familiar to our learners. Min 8/Max 12 Class does not meet:3/31 Little Actors in Action Supervisor: Laura Sowers Does your child like to take the stage? Are they always singing, dancing, twirling, or pretending? Well send them to us this fall each Wednesday! In this 13 week course your little actor will take on different roles from stage crew to set designer to thespian. Born to Move™ Supervisor: Liz Visteen Children in this age group are gaining more effective control over movements and have vivid imaginations. In this 45-minutes class children will develop self-awareness, balance, weight transfer and concentration skills while learning how to interpret music, explore and move to a beat. Min 6/Max 16 EARLY CHILDHOOD The "CubHouse" Indoor Playground at Stevenson Center (49 Lake St. in Oak Park) The Park District of Oak Park's Indoor Playground for ages 5 and under is moving to Stevenson Center! Join your friends at 49 Lake Street for indoor fun on those "let's get out of the house & explore" fall days . . . or those cold, blustery, frigid winter days! Children 5 years and younger will enjoy socializing and playing with others their age at our quaint and friendly, indoor playground space. We have a designated infant area, a place to draw & read, and a place to run! All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. The waiver sign in sheet will be filled out each visit. OPERATING HOURS: M-Sa: 10am-1pm (closed Sundays) through April 25 FEES: $3 per child, cash, credit card or check accepted Or buy a pass! $50 for season for first child, $12 for each additional child Passes must be purchased in-person at one of our registration sites.
