Circus One-Day Workshops
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Have you ever been to the circus? Have you wanted
to be able to ride a unicycle or spin plates on a stick
. . . maybe hang from a trapeze? Well this is the
prefect place to try your hand at the circus for the first
time. Participants will get to explore various circus
equipment in a fun and safe learning enviornment.

Introduction to the Aerial Arts
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
This introductory class teaches the basic tricks and
stunts straight from the circus and is open to all levels
of fitness. Students will learn both the trapeze and
aerial silks in a fun and exciting environment. It is not
only a unique opportunity but a great way to improve
physical strength and coordination.

Aerial Arts: Trapeze

Prerequisite: One full year Beginning
Trapeze, Intro to Aerial Arts, or teacher
referral
In this second level Trapeze course, students will
learn intermediate tricks and start to coordinate
aerial moves together to form combinations and
routines. Students will learn both trapeze and
aerial silks in a fun and challenging environment.

SCAW Spring Workshops
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
These one day workshops are designed for students
to explore their creativity, get you out of the house
in winter, and excited about SCAW Summer Camp!
A different medium and topic will be the focus of
each workshop. Material exploration in addition
to guided instruction will make up the 2 hour
workshop. Workshops cover a variety of topics and a
take home project will be created in each workshop!
