How To Sew A
Handbag with Lining
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Join Angie and sew a fantastic lined handbag.
Makes a great Mother's Day gift! Participants will
learn how to use interfacing and lining basics.
Participants will choose from two options: a tote
bag (for beginner to intermediate) and a small
purse with a magnetic closure (for intermediate).
Participants must supply their own fabric and
thread in addition to bringing a sewing machine.
Information on selecting fabric and yardage will be
emailed to participants at least one week prior to
the workshop.

Curtain Basics
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Learn how to sew a simple café curtain or panel,
including measuring, mitering corners and how to
cut and handle large amounts of fabric. We will sew
one café curtain during the workshop. Participants
must supply their own fabric and thread in addition
to bringing a sewing machine. Information on
selecting fabric and yardage will be emailed to
participants at least one week prior to the workshop.

This is the perfect class for someone who
appreciates unique accessories and making gifts,
but doesn't know how to sew with a machine!
You've seen them on Pinterest and Etsy, now stop
pinning and start sewing! We'll cover hand-
sewing basics as well as how to work with specialty
fabrics like tulle and satin and the best places
to find supplies. We'll make pins, hair clips and
headbands, bracelets and more! Everything is
supplied but your imagination!
