58 Circus One-Day Workshops Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Have you ever been to the circus? Have you wanted to be able to ride a unicycle or spin plates on a stick . . . maybe hang from a trapeze? Well this is the prefect place to try your hand at the circus for the first time. Participants will get to explore various circus equipment in a fun and safe learning enviornment. Students will learn both the trapeze and aerial silks in a fun and exciting environment. It is not only a unique opportunity but a great way to improve physical strength and coordination. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 4/2 Aerial Arts: Trapeze Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Prerequisite: One full year Beginning Trapeze, Intro to Aerial Arts, or teacher referral In this second level Trapeze course, students will learn intermediate tricks and start to coordinate aerial moves together to form combinations and routines. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 4/2 SCAW Spring Workshops Supervisor: Amanda Heiman These one day workshops are designed for students to explore their creativity, get you out of the house in winter, and excited about SCAW Summer Camp! A different medium and topic will be the focus of each workshop. Material exploration in addition to guided instruction will make up the 2 hour workshop.
