27 Freestyle Sessions Fee: $10 Pre-paid pass - 10 visits for $75 Freestyle ice time is for skaters who are looking for additional time to practice their skills individually or with a coach. These sessions are available only to those skaters registered in the Skate Academy program. Basic 8 and below may use the ice when accompanied by a coach. Birthday parties, corporate outings, or even just extra practice time - all are available for rental! The ice arena and rooms at the RCRC are now available to rent! This space is great for social events, corporate outings, community groups, pick-up games, or extra practice time. The ice and rooms can be rented separately or together to make a great event both on and off-ice. Additional options to accompany your rental include skate rental and concessions. Open Hockey Practice Times Fee: $10 Pre-paid pass - 10 visits for $75 The Park District of Oak Park offers Rat Hockey times and Stick and Puck times. Rat Hockey times are meant for players age 18+ to organize drop-in games. Stick and Puck is open to all ages and can be used for scrimmages, but also for skill-building and practice. When needed, based on attendance, the ice will be divided and four nets will be available. Equipment required: skates, shin pads, gloves, hockey pants, and a helmet. No open hockey through 5/12 due to Ice Show! Schedule starting May 13 Adult Stick and Puck (May 13 - August 7) • Tu/Th 6-7:30am Women's Rat Hockey (Ends for season June 3) • W 9:15-10:15am Schedule starting June 7 Adult Rat Hockey ( June 7 - August 7) • Su 10:15-11:15am All Ages Stick and Puck (June 7 - August 7) • Su 9-10am In order to promote the safest environment possible on the ice, all protective equipment is encouraged, especially wearing a safety helmet. SKATE PASSES Passes are on sale now for skating sessions! Passes are good for any Noon Skate, School's Out Skate, or Public Skate time (not good for Rat Hockey, Stick & Puck, or Freestyle).
