21 ICE ARENA & ROOM RENTALS - Now Booking! Birthday parties, corporate outings, or even just extra practice time - all are available for rental! The ice arena and rooms at the RCRC are now available to rent! This space is great for social events, corporate outings, community groups, pick-up games, or extra practice time. The ice and rooms can be rented separately or together to make a great event both on and off-ice. Additional options to ac- company your rental include skate rental and concessions. For information on dates, times, and pricing, please contact Mike Lushniak at Mike.Lushniak@pdop.org. Ice time is limited and booked on a first-come, first- served basis. SKATE PASSES Passes are on sale now for skating sessions! Passes are good for any Noon Skate, School's Out Skate, or Public Skate time (not good for Rat Hockey, Stick & Puck, or Freestyle). Purchase your pass now online at www.pdop.org/registration or in person at the Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex. Benefits Just for Ice Arena Pass Holders Saving Money - Year Round or Summer Only Pass Available Public skate admission fee is $7 - so your pass pays for itself in just 8 visits! PLUS: Convert your summer-only ice arena pass before September 1 to a year-round pass and your original fee will be applied to your pass purchase! VIP Access Skate Pass holders receive a discount on admission for rink special events like cosmic skates, teen nights, and movies on the ice. Access to "The Buzz" Skate Pass holders AND Pool Pass holders will receive special e-mail blasts about upcoming events and programs within the Park District. YEAR ROUND PASS FEE $62 Residents $94 Non-residents Use code RINKIND to register online Pass is good for 365 days (one calendar year) from date of purchase. Renew within 30 days of your expiration date and we'll take $10 off the price! SKATING Special Event! Spooky Skate Friday, October 30 6-8:15pm Put your costume on and come to the rink to be spooked out of your skates. Enjoy a ghoulish public skate with all the extras! Compete in a costume contest, play chilling games on the ice, do some creepy crafts, and of course eat some candy too! The ice will be decorated like a haunted house with scary music. Fee: $7 or by season pass (skate rental $3) Movie Night at the Rink! "Blades of Glory" Saturday, September 19 from 7:30-9:45pm (rated PG-13) Tired of your same old Saturday night routine? Spice things up with a movie ON THE ICE! We'll roll out our jumbo inflatable movie screen and blast the sound so spectators can enjoy the film while skating on the ice or from the bleachers. Get there early – the first 50 people will receive a voucher for free popcorn. Experience the big screen like it has never been experienced before! Fee: $7 or by season pass (skate rental $3) Special Event! Cosmic Skate Saturday, November 6 7:30-9:45pm Got Saturday Night Fever? We've got the cure - we're turning down the lights and turning UP the fun with COSMIC SKATE at the ice rink! Skate the evening away under the glowing lights while our professional DJ plays your favorite tunes. Fee: $7 or by season pass (skate rental $3) School/Group Outings At RCRC Celebrate the start of the school year at the coolest place in town! The RCRC offers group outings that are affordable, enjoyable, educational, unique, and provide for physical fitness.
