25 Basic 1 Supervisor: Kyle Sandine Basic 1 is for participants who are new to figure skating. Participants learn to sit and stand up, marching, forward glides, dip, travel forward swizzles, backward wiggles, snowplow stop, rocking horse and two-foot hop. Min 4/Max 10 Class does not meet: 11/24-11/28, 12/22-1/02 Basic 2 Supervisor: Kyle Sandine Prerequisite: Passing Basic 1 Basic 2 develops one-foot glides, backward two foot glides, traveling backward swizzles, two foot turn in place, moving snowplow stop, and forward alternating half swizzle pumps in a line. Min 4/Max 10 Class does not meet: 11/24-11/28, 12/22-1/02 Dance & Skate Supervisor: Stefany Cotton Saturday mornings can be filled with this new combo class offering- dance and skating! Partici- pants will start with a Creative Movement class from 9:40-10:20am. After class students will take a Snowplow Sam 1 class from 10:30-11:00am. Both classes will help children learn how to control and use their bodies, relate to other children and express themselves through introductory skill work in dance and skating.
