This program acts as a stepping stone to formal dance. Children will be introduced to different steps and technique that will help them as they advance into higher levels of dance. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 10/10, 10/13, 10/15,11/24, 11/26, 11/28 Beginning Ballet Supervisor: Stefany Cotton An introduction to ballet for the tiny dancer in this exciting ballet class. Lessons will focus on basic ballet positions, proper ballet technique, steps and terminology, as well as coordination and rhythm. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 10/13,11/24, 10/10,11/28 Beginning Ballet & Tap Supervisor: Stefany Cotton This class will expose your beginner to two different types of dance styles. Students will learn ballet technique, steps and terminology as well as the foundations of tap dancing. Children will improve their coordination and rhythm while developing these different dance styles. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 10/15,11/26 Pirouettes with my Parents Supervisor: Stefany Cotton This class is a fun way to move with your little one. It will be filled with creative movement and imaginative games. You can see firsthand how your tiny dancer moves as you participate with them! Min 4/Max 8 Class does not meet: 10/12 Beginning Ballet 2 Supervisor: Stefany Cotton A continuation of Beginning Ballet. Dancers will continue to learn technique and skills while perfect- ing the ones they already know. Beginning Ballet must be taken at least twice in order to take Begin- ning Ballet 2, unless given instructor permission. After class students will take a Snowplow Sam 1 class from 10:30-11:00am. Both classes will help children learn how to control and use their bodies, relate to other children and express themselves through introductory skill work in dance and skating. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 11/24-11/26, 12/22-1/02 Dance r Grownups! We offer Adult Lyrical Dance, Tap, Ballet, Latin Ballroom and Swing Dancing!
