DANCE
Ballet & Jazz
Supervisor: Stefany Cotton
Using ballet as a foundation for this class, dancers
will refine basic ballet movements, positions, and
technique. Students will learn basic jazz skills
and technique by referring to the methods learned
in ballet. Lessons will include different ways for
children to coordinate their bodies while dancing
to different kinds of music and rhythms. This
class will now consist of 45 minutes of ballet and
45 minutes of jazz. This way, students can be better
exposed to both dance styles.
