This class focuses on building individual and team field hockey skills. Instruction and practice drills emphasize stick handling, ball control, positioning, offensive and defensive tactics, rules, and conditioning. The clinics are run by extremely qualified field hockey coaches with college field hockey experience. Equip- ment will be provided by the Park District. Min 8/Max 12 Floor Hockey Leagues Supervisor: Dan Schaffer All teams will hae one practice prior to games starting the week of November 2nd. The number of regular season games will be 8 games with an end of the season tournament. Leagues will not consiste of co-ed teams but rather boys only and girls only teams based on grade level. • No additional practices during season • Eight (8) regular seaon games starting Satur- day, November 7 • Games will be played Saturday morning or afternoon at District 97 Schools • No games will be scheduled the week of Thanks- giving or holiday break Min 8/Max 48 Class does not meet: 11/28,12/26,01/02 YOUTH SPORTS Co-Rec Floor Hockey Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Join our Instructional Youth Floor Hockey League for 1st and 2nd graders! The first two weeks will be practice/clinics only and the next four weeks will be games on Saturday mornings. No experience neces- sary. Times for practices/games will be finalized once rosters are complete.
