Kris will provide instruc- tion each week along with ideas for projects you can individualize: tiles, mugs, bowls, teapots, and more. Continuing students are encouraged to register and use this class to enhance their skills. Clay, glazes, and firing are included in the fee. Depending on where your creativity takes you . . . class time allows for both wheel throwing and hand building opportuni- ties. Please note the studio only has 6 wheels for use during class hours. Min 4/Max 8 Adult Art Classes Supervisor: Amanda Heiman This 4 week art course will get you excited about the arts. Each 4 week session will cover a different medium. In each evening class artists will create masterpieces that are sure to be wall worthy. Section I: Drawing - Line drawing, composi- tion, perspective, light and shadow. In this 4 week session artists will start with pencil and charcoal then progress on to the use of pen and ink. Section II: Painting - In this 4 week session art- ists will learn how to make/stretch a canvas, about color theory, and will work from different still-lifes and props. Section III: Mixed Media - You will use differ- ent materials such as fabric, paper, found objects, cardboard, chicken fence, etc., to make 3D objects sure to excite any artist. Each class during this 4 week session a different project will be assigned. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 11/26 New! Adult Cooks Supervisor: Poppy Vogel Chef's Table- But you are the Chef! Learn to cook a three course meal from professional Chef Ron Martin. Class is HANDS ON and not demonstration. Bring your favorite bottle of wine or suggestions can be made. Indi- vidual modifications provided as needed. Strong & Long Tu & Th, 8:15-9:10AM at Dole Center This class focuses on improving strength and flexibility. Strength exercises include upper and lower body with special attention on the core muscles to improve strength and flexibility. Some Like it Light M & W, 6:15-7:10PM at RCRC Exercise with hand-held weights to help prevent and reduce osteoporosis. A great choice for cross- training with an emphasis on stretching, toning, strength, flexibility and endurance. SENIOR FITNESS PUNCH PASS CLASSES (Age 50+) Supervisor: Liz Visteen Senior Fitness Punch Passes are available in 10, 20 & 35 punch increments. Each visit to one of the classes listed below counts as one punch! Your PDOP Fitness Punch Pass expires 6 months after the date of purchase and is non-transferable and non-refundable. Classes do not take place on major holidays.
