Each night will feature a fun board game geared toward the teen age range. Whether you are a board game expert or just looking for a new hobby, this event is for you! Our program instructors are board game enthusiasts who would be happy to teach the games to a beginner. A pizza dinner will be included! $8 residents/$12 non-residents, register in advance using code 129902 Friday, Jan 29 from 7-9pm, Barrie Center Friday, Feb 26 from 7-9pm, Barrie Center Galloping Ghost Arcade Supervisor: Mike Loszach Get your weekend started off the right way by joining us for a trip to Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield for all you can play Arcade Games! No need for quarters or tokens and we'll take care of the admission fee - just all the games you can play! Galloping Ghost has over 400 arcade games listed on their website so there is sure to be something for everyone! Min 8/Max 13 Enchanted Castle Trip Supervisor: Mike Loszach Lazer Tag, Go-Karts, Arcade Games, Food, and more! Join us on this Friday night teen trip to Enchanted Castle in Lombard. Teens will have the chance to pick what they want to do as Enchanted Castle has a pay as you go policy. With no admission fee, teens should bring money to pay for whatever attractions, games, or food they would like. The Park District admission fee is to cover transportation and supervision. Min 8/Max 13 Allegiant at Hollywood Blvd Supervisor: Mike Loszach We are taking a trip to Hollywood Blvd. in Woodridge for the Opening Night showing of Allegiant: Part 1! The Hollywood Blvd. theater features lounge chairs and servers that come out during the movie to take your food and drink order. We have a limited number of tickets available so advanced registration is required. Please Note - Showtimes have not been released yet, but we will be going to a Friday night showing. Exact times will be communicated as we get closer to the trip date. Min 8/Max 13 Flashlight Egg Hunt on March 24 Supervisor: Mike Loszach The quest for the Golden Egg begins! Treat-filled eggs will be hidden throughout the park for this teen-only event. Your challenge is to find more eggs than your friends using only a flashlight and to be the one and only teen to find Golden Egg and claim the official Golden Egg Prize. Don't forget to bring a flashlight! Advanced registration is required. Min 12/Max 100 Indoor Skydiving Teen Trip Supervisor: Mike Loszach Are you ready to try something new and exciting? Join us for a trip to iFly Indoor Skydiving arena in Naperville. iFly uses a wind tunnel and giant fans to simulate Skydiving without the hassle of jumping out of an airplane! There is no parachute, no jumping, and nothing attaching your body to planet earth! Included in your registration is two flights per person, a video of your flight time, all flight gear, hands on assistance with a personal instructor, and a high flight. Your first flight will allow you to get the hang of things, flying about 3-6 feet off the ground with your instructor. Your second flight is your high flight where the instructor will take you on an adventurous ride through the tunnel from top to bottom up to 20 feet in the air! Spots are limited, so sign up today! Min 8/Max 12 JUST FOR TEENS Just For Teens PDOP Open Gym Basketball AT FENWICK HIGH SCHOOL! The Park District of Oak Park is now hosting open gym basketball for Oak Park residents only at Fen- wick High School! A yearlong open gym pass can be purchased at GRC or RCRC for $10. SCHEDULE: • Wednesdays, 7:15-9pm 7:15-8pm: Family Open Gym (parent child - no age restriction w/parent) 8-9pm: Middle School Open Gym (6-8th Grades) • Saturdays, 4-6pm 4-5pm: Family Open Gym (parent child - no age restriction w/parent) 5-6pm: Youth Open Gym (3rd - 5th Grade) • Saturdays, 6-7pm Girls Only: 3rd - 8th Grades On certain dates that we will not have access to the gym. Visit pdop.org/opengym for info. Register early for Park District trips! Why? We need to meet our minimum headcount by the time we must purchase our advance tickets for teen and adult trips - otherwise a trip may be cancelled!
