RESIDENT REGISTRATION OPENS Saturday, February 6 at 8:30am 14 Drawing Skills In this workshop, students creativity will be encouraged and supported through instruction, to produce a multitude of different pieces using different media. Graphite, ink, charcoal, and pastels will be partnered with drawing skill in- struction focused on areas such as composition, proportion, perspective, shading, and more. Everybody Rocks Electric guitars, drums, bass, and vocals give students the chance to experiment with instru- ments and build musical skills while learning songs of their choosing. Students will start with the fundamentals of playing instruments and de- velop these skills into a final rock performance. No instrument rental necessary; class provides instruments. All skill levels welcome. The Gamemaker ® / Kodu ® Video Game Design Experience Funutation shows you how to use drag-and-drop to create great looking games. Use Gamemaker 8.1 and Kodu to create animated graphics, and sound effects to make a shooter game. Kids acquire tech skills using our trademarked Funutation TEAMS ® hands-on, inquiry-based model. Participants experience the basics of computer programming to design landscapes, animations, digital sounds, and special effects. Make sure you have a Minecraft account prior to the first day of event. Nature Art Nature Art will combine materials from the great outdoors with items such as paint, yarn, chalk, and clay. Andy Goldsworthy, famous Naturalist, will inspire our sculptures along with other famous artists. Careful teaching and understand- ing of nature and protecting our habitat will be part of the curriculum.
