Level I Skateboarding Supervisor: Dan Schaffer is class is designed for those just starting out in skateboarding. Participants will learn the very basics of the sport such as proper foot positioning and pushing so that they can become comfortable skating flat ground and learn how their equipment works. Because skateboarding is an individual sport, participants will learn at their own pace with the help of experienced instructors who will give plenty of one-on-one time, even in this group setting. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. Other pads are recommended. e skate park will be closed to the public during this program. Min 3/Max 4 Level II Skateboarding Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Once you're feeling comfortable skating flat ground, this class will help you learn more advanced tricks and techniques like ollies and drop-ins so that you can start learning how to ride those ramps. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. Other pads are recommended. e ASA skate park will be closed to the public during this program. Min 3/Max 4 Skateboading Clinics Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Have you always wanted to learn to skateboard or are an experienced skater looking to get better at one particular skill by taking it to the next level? ese one day skating clinics will cover the basics such as standing on the skateboard and getting started in the Intro Class and will take you to the next level in the Advanced Clinic focusing on dropping in, tricks and various grinds and flips. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. Min 3/Max 4 Indoor Tennis Instruction @ the Tennis & Fitness Centre Weekly, Beginning & Adv. Beg. players are introduced to new techniques, fun challenges, and game situations in a friendly and supportive structure. Quick Start and Whizz Kids Classes use restricted flight balls. Skill development, game fundamentals, and fitness are the focus. is is NOT a PDOP program. For details and registration, please call the Tennis and Fitness Centre, 708-386-2175.
