"Rise of the Revivals"
In partnership with the Oak Park Public Library, the Foundation welcomed
three experts in the field of architecture to discuss various examples of
Revivalist architecture to a packed house of eager "students".
Front Porch Tile Restoration
Several broken and missing tiles on Pleasant
Home's front porch were in desperate need of
repair. Heritage Tile of Oak Park partnered
with the Foundation to have tiles custom made by
an artist and installed along with concrete repairs.
June Revel Gala Fundraiser
Pleasant Home Foundation hosted their 2nd
annual "June Revel" gala honoring a historical
event from 1907. The masquerade-themed
evening included roaming musicians, masked
dancers on the lawn and delicious food. This
event is the biggest fundraiser for Pleasant Home
Foundation, raising significant support for our mission.

Jeanette Andrews Magic Show
New to Pleasant Home in 2015, magician Jeanette Andrews thrilled
audiences through five immersive and highly interactive sold-out parlor
magic shows, proving that magic is a form of art and still very much alive!
Ms. Andrews will be back in 2016 for an eight-show series.
