Girls & Boys T-Ball League
Supervisor: Dan Schaffer
Are you looking to continue to develop your
baseball skills? is league will teach participants
the basics of throwing, hitting, running, and
fielding. Games will take place at Ridgeland
Common starting at 5:30pm on ursdays.
Practices will take place on Tuesday nights. No
scores are kept during the league as this is a non-
competitive league for young children, emphasizing
teamwork and the importance of working on the
FUNdamentals! Each participant will receive a team
jersey and hat. Volunteer coaches are needed to run
this program.

Dodgeball

Duck, dive and dodge! Let's play some dodgeball.
Don't duck out on the fun of in playing this great
game! Participants will play a pick-up game each
week under the direct supervision of the Park
District Staff

is program will introduce your child to the one
of the oldest playground games out there which is
the game of kickball. Participants will play a pick-
up game each week to see who is the king of the
playground!

is program gives you and your child an
opportunity to bond and have fun together while
learning a variety of sports. is class is great for
simple motor skills such as catching, throwing,
batting, shooting, passing, and anything that
involves hand-eye coordination. Parents participate
with the child as we play soccer, basketball, hockey,
t-ball, and many other sports.

is fun filled class teaches little superstars the
importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, while
attempting to spark an interest in variety of sports.
Sports covered will be favorites such as basketball,
hockey, soccer, baseball, football, and many more.

T-Ball

Learn the basics of baseball in a fun environment
where no one stands around. rowing, catching,
hitting, and fielding will be taught as well as
running the bases and rules of the game. Games
will be played every week. Participants must bring
their own glove.

Girls Instructional
Softball League
Supervisor: Dan Schaffer
Players ages 6-8 will learn the basic fundamentals
of transitioning to competitive soball. is league
will consist of weekly practices on Monday nights
at Julian School which will be held anywhere
between 5:30pm-7:30pm and last for one hour.
Weekly games will be played on Wednesday nights
at Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex. Game
times on Tuesday nights will start at 6:00 pm.
All games will be coach pitch. No experience is
necessary. Registration cost includes a team shirt
and hat for each player. Volunteer coaches are
needed to run this program. Min 20/Max 40
Instructional Baseball League
Supervisor: Dan Schaffer
Players ages 6-8 will learn the basic fundamentals
of transitioning from t-ball to baseball and a soee
ball will be used for all practices & games. Ideal for
players who just wrapped up their T-Ball season
and are hungry for more! is league will consist of
weekly practices on Tuesday nights and will be held
anywhere between 5:00pm-8:00pm and last for
one hour. Weekly games will be played on ursday
nights at Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex.
Game times on ursday nights will be between
5:30pm-7:30pm and all games will be coach pitch.
No experience is necessary. All teams are open to
both boys and girls & player requests will not be
taken. Registration cost includes a team shirt and
hat for each player.
