Projects and materials are new from season to season - so you can take the class again and again! Mini Masterpieces Supervisor: Kelly Baran Create and play with your little one as you meet new friends to discuss topics like "Cruising Around Town with Baby", "Clever Tricks for Healthy Habits", and "Fitting it All in with Baby". Each week parents will enjoy coffee and conversation as they sing, play, and make a masterpiece with baby. Min 6/Max 10 Social Butterflies & Busy Bees Supervisor: Kelly Baran Each week explore, play, and socialize with your toddler through songs, games, large motor activities, music, blocks, and more. All activities will encourage the development of your child's listening, sharing, and coordination skills. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Min 6/Max 15 Bedtime Stories Supervisor: Kelly Baran Put on your PJs and come join the fun as we listen to a story, make a cra, sing songs, and play games all before bed! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Families are welcome. No charge for children under 12 months. Min 8/Max 20 Clay Paint & Draw Outdoors Supervisor: Kelly Baran Busy hands mean busy minds. Engage in an aernoon of art with your child as you explore the richness of clay, the power of paint, and the drama of drawing. Different projects will be introduced each week to encourage participants to tap into their creativity through art! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Min 6/Max 12 Pint Size Sports Supervisor: Kelly Baran Your little athlete will learn the basic skills needed in any sport: balance, coordination, motor development, and socialization by playing with a variety of sports equipment. e fun, easy, and age-appropriate activities will engage you and your child as they develop the motor movement needed in soccer, baseball, basketball, and more! Program takes place both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). Min 8/Max 12 Stories & Spokes Supervisor: Karyn DeYoung Wednesdays, 12:00pm-2:00pm June 22 at Carroll Park July 20 at Andersen Park August 17 at Longfellow Park Did you know some of our parks are named aer famous authors? Join the Park District in partnership with the Oak Park Public Library for a new FREE summer series celebrating the stories of our parks' namesakes. Watch stories come to life while a storyteller reads aloud. Bike to the event, show us your helmet and be entered into a Healthier Oak Park drawing! Winners will be announced aer the story and must be present to receive their prize. OPPL's Book Bike will also be in attendance.
