Polar Bear Hockey League (PBHL)

Let's play some hockey! e Polar Bear Hockey League doesn't take a break
for summer and takes it back to the roots of hockey. is program is designed
for those players interested in trying the game before signing up for a league
or just want to have fun and apply their hockey skills like their favorite
professional players! Players who sign up will play cross ice games each week
with a new team based on the special summer pick-up style format. Players
will be divided up on the ice and be exposed to the social and physical benefits
hockey offers. Players must be enrolled in Polar Cubs 2/Junior Bears 2 or
above OR be proficient skaters. Jerseys will not be provided, please bring a
light and a dark jersey each week.

Adult Hockey Beginner
Ages 16+
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
is class provides an unintimidating environment
for adults to give hockey a try. ere is no
experience required. Skills to be learned include
skating basics like crossovers and stopping, as well
as stick handling, passing, and shooting. e laid
back atmosphere and constructive coaching will
make this class fun while focusing on building
new skills on the ice. Meet new people or join with
friends and spend your Friday nights on the ice!
Equipment required: skates, shin pads, hockey
pants, elbow pads, gloves, helmet, stick
