Arts & Crafts Supervisor: Amanda Heiman is all new class is sure to get your creative juices flowing! Participants will enjoy craing unique creations over coffee and conversation. e instructor will lead you in creating fun and unique projects! Join class with your friends and share new ideas! Participants will work on take away projects and go home with tons of new, unique creations! Min 4/Max 12 Adult Ceramics - Daytime Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Active hands lead to an active mind! Get and stay creative in this 6-week ceramics course, offered during daytime hours! You will have a chance to try wheel-throwing and begin mastering hand-building techniques. e teacher will provide instruction and support each week along with ideas for projects you can individualize. Please note there are only 6 wheels in the studio; therefore, pending enrollment numbers, not all students will use the wheel each class. All skill levels welcome! Min 4/Max 10 Class does not meet: 11/24 Open Ceramic Studio Times for Current Students Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Didn't have time to finish your project in class . . . was absent one day . . . just need extra studio time? For those enrolled in any ceramics class this season, we are offering free open studio hours one day a month to give you time to put those final touches on your masterpieces. Fridays, 5:00pm-9:00pm on: • September 30 • October 14 • November 11 • December 16 No registration necessary. Adult Ceramics Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Get creative and express yourself in this 4 week program that will focus on basic wheel throwing and hand building techniques. e instructor will provide support each week along with ideas for projects you can individualize such as tiles, mugs, bowls, teapots, and more. Continuing students are encouraged to register and use this class to enhance their skills. Clay, glazes, and firing are included in the fee. Depending on where your creativity takes you, class time allows for both wheel throwing and hand building opportunities. Please note the studio only has 6 wheels for use during class hours. Min 4/Max 6 ACTIVE ADULT FITNESS PUNCH PASS CLASSES (Age 50+) Supervisor: Laura Greeley Active Adult Fitness Punch Passes are available in 10, 20 & 35 punch increments. Each visit to one of the classes listed below counts as one punch! Classes do not take place on major holidays. Buy your pass at one of our Registration Sites - Ridgeland Common or Gymnastics and Recreation Center. Your PDOP Fitness Punch Pass expires 6 months aer the date of purchase and is non-transferable and non-refundable. Individual modifications provided as needed. Strong & Long Tu & , 8:15-9:15AM at Dole Center is class focuses on improving strength and flexibility. Strength exercises include upper and lower body with special attention on the core muscles to improve strength and flexibility. Some Like it Light M & W, 6:15-7:10PM at RCRC We will exercise with hand-held weights which help prevent and reduce osteoporosis.
