Min 6/Max 20 All mulch material used in our parks, specifically in our landscape beds and around tree rings, consists of recycled, end-of-life crane and access matting and 100% locally harvested urban timber material. Crane and access mats are manufactured locally and consist of hardwood species, primarily Oak. is matting has been used in environmentally sensitive areas for habitat protection, as well as agricultural land protection and more general-use construction. All mat material has been cleaned and is free of weed seed, soils, and pathogens. No trees are removed directly for the making of our mulch products. Did You Know?
