Have you wanted to be able to ride a unicycle or spin plates on a stick . . . maybe hang from a trapeze? Well this is the perfect place to try your hand at the circus for the first time. Participants will get to explore various circus equipment in a fun and safe learning environment! Sunday, Sept 11: Aerials Hang from the trapeze like a real circus performer! is 2 hour workshop will introduce you to proper ways to execute aerial acrobatics on the trapeze, following the safety guidelines demonstrated by the instructors. Sunday, Nov 13: A Little Bit of Everything! Juggle, spin plates, or hang from the trapeze! is 2 hour workshop will introduce you to a little bit of everything our circus programs have to offer! Min 6/Max 16 Intro to Aerial Circus Arts Supervisor: Laura Greeley is introductory class teaches basic tricks and stunts straight from the circus and is open to all levels of fitness. Students will learn both trapeze and aerial silks in a fun and exciting environment. It is not only a unique opportunity but a great way to improve physical strength and coordination. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 11/24 Aerial Arts - Trapeze Supervisor: Laura Greeley Prerequisite: One full year of Intro to Aerials, Beginning Trapeze, or teacher referral. In this second level Circus course, students will learn intermediate tricks and start to coordinate aerial moves. Trapeze and ground work will be combined to form routines.
