RESIDENT REGISTRATION OPENS Saturday, February 4 at 8:30am 8 HALF-DAY SPECIALTY CAMPS Supervisor: Amanda Heiman LEGO CAMPS Explore the endless possibilities of LEGO ® this Summer Sticky Fingers Cooking: THYME to TURNIP the BEET on what KIDS EAT! August 14-18 | Grades 1-3 and 4-7 Campers will prepare and eat healthy, globally inspired recipes all while learning to cook in a real-world way! Our Chefs will reinforce kitchen skills and emphasize terminology, ingredients and fun nutrition facts. We will practice measurements, use a wide array of cooking utensils all while preparing the freshest ingredients. Full recipes will be created each class with our Sticky Fingers Cooking instructors. We provide all of the tools, ingredients and instruction needed to cook up a fun, delicious and healthy treat each day. Week-long camps are three hours long, mornings (ages 5-6) and aernoons (ages 7-12) are available. Camps take place at Dole Center and are tailored for grades Kindergarten through sixth grade. Mad Science Eureka Camp August 14-18 | Grades K-5 is five-day camp will have your child bringing home designs and devices created and assembled during their inspired journey assimilating their own inventive process. Learn to write notes backwards like Leonardo da Vinci, be part of a complex 'human' machine, use your creativty to escape from a deserted island, improve on airplane designs and even make your own light stick to take home. Register online: www.pdop.org/madcamps Full day! Chess Scholars Camp Weeks: July 17-21 and August 14-18 | Grades K-6 is camp is designed for both beginners and experienced young players. All participants will learn cool new strategies from a renowned Chess Scholars coach. Children will have an opportunity to test for a Chess Belt® patterned aer martial arts belts.
