A Taste of Chicago
Grades K-2
Can you name the top iconic food dishes or
places in Chicago? If not, you better register
for this camp. Campers will explore the tastes
around Chicago from pizza to cake shakes to
chicken and waffles! Get to know Chicago as
you enlighten your taste buds. Recipes and
kitchen safety will make up a portion of this
camp. Please note that time is required for food
items to cook and/or bake; therefore this camp
will also include food related projects
and games.
Squish, Ooze, BOOM!
Grades K-2
Channel your inner scientist with a week full of
experimentation. Aer making slime, testing
volcanoes, and more, your little one will be a
certified junior scientist by the end of the week!
Myth Busters Week
Grades 3-6
"Busted" or "Confirmed," you be the judge! In
this one-week camp, participants will test key
elements of popular beliefs, internet rumors or
other myths. We will replicate the circumstance
and duplicate the results, making predications
along the way. Compete one myth against the
next, in this action-packed camp.
Cake Combat!
Grades 3-6
Do you love the Food Network and the amazing
creations they make? en this is the camp for
you. From cake to cupcake battles this bake-off
is sure to sweeten up any summer day. Bakers
will be taught kitchen safety and will use their
creativity to battle their peers in a cake combat.
Please note that time is required for food items
to cook and/or bake; therefore this camp will
also include food-related projects and games.
Camp Cook Off
Grades 3-6
Learn the basics of recipe reading, cooking,
and baking while creating a unique dish every
day. End the week competing in our very own
Chopped Challenge! Please note that time is
required for food items to cook and/or bake;
therefore this camp will also include food
related projects and games.
