You'll learn the fundamentals of tennis in these programs. See below for descriptions of skills taught for each age level. Pee Wee Tennis (Ages 4-5) Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Includes instruction on gripping the raquet, proper tennis swing, ball control and movement on the tennis court. All participants should bring their own raquet. Min 6/Max 20 Jr. Youth Tennis (Ages 6-9) Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Includes instruction on basic skills and also focuses on forehand, backhand and the volley. All participants should bring their own raquet. Min 6/ Max 20 Youth Tennis (Ages 10-13) Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Designed to provide further instruction on forehand and backhand swings, volley tennis drills and positioning on the court. All participants should bring their own raquet. Min 6/Max 20 Semi-Private Tennis Lessons Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Looking to expand your tennis skills in a small group setting? Semi-Private Tennis lessons have a maximum of 4 participants per lesson which provides a more detailed structure. Participants will lean more complex techniques, ball striking skills, and strategies for success in Tennis. Min 2/Max 4 Level I Skateboarding Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Want to learn how to skateboard? is class is designed for those just starting out in skateboarding. Participants will learn the very basics of the sport such as proper foot positioning and pushing so that they can become comfortable skating flat ground and learn how their equipment works. Because skateboarding is an individual sport, participants will learn at their own pace with the help of experienced instructors who will give plenty of one-on-one time, even in this group setting. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. Other pads are recommended. e skate park will be closed to the public during this program. Min 3/Max 4 Level II Skateboarding Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Once you're feeling comfortable skating flat ground, this class will help you learn more advanced tricks and techniques like ollies and drop-ins so that you can start learning how to ride those ramps. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. Other pads are recommended. e ASA skate park will be closed to the public during this program.
