Group tours are available for children and/or adults, including a visually-oriented and interactive diverse learners tour designed for individuals 18 and older with special needs. Plant Clinic • Tuesdays, 1:00-3:00P Staff can help with gardening questions, plant idenitification or disease diagnostics. Potting service also available. (Donation suggested.) A JOURNEY WORLDS AWAY IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD Garden Walk 2017 Sunday, June 25 from 10:00A-4:00P Presented by Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory and Garden Club of Oak Park-River Forest Tickets on sale May 16 online at www.gcoprf.org or June 1 at the Oak Park Conservatory: $15 in advance, $20 on event day, $13 for members of Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory if purchased in advance at the Conservatory. e 24th Annual Garden Walk in Oak Park and River Forest is a self-guided tour through nine unique gardens and one neighborhood-created place. Garden Art Swap Meet Saturday August 5, 10:00am-1:00pm We gardeners have all purchased or been given gis for our gardens that we have tired of or which no longer fit our garden theme. If you are downsizing or simply want to "re-gi" that pink flamingo you received, now's your chance! Objects can include decorative containers, pottery, garden signs, statues, wind chimes, stepping stones, and yes, pink flamingoes but nothing over 40 pounds, please! All items must be clean and in good repair. Additional garden art and refreshments will be available for sale during the swap meet including our Ponderosa Lemonade Stand and more! Quick Sketch Garden Design Landscape design and garden consultation services are available at the Oak Park Conservatory every first Tuesday of the month from 12:00-3:00P (February thru October). Bring in photos of your garden for our professionals to offer help, planting suggestions and a quick sketch as time allows. Registration required. Four one-hour time slots are available each session.
