Participants will learn at their own pace with the help of experienced instructors who will give plenty of one-on-one time, even in this group setting. LEVEL 2: Advanced Once you become comfortable skating on flat ground, this class will help you learn more advanced tricks and techniques to help you learn how to ride those ramps! Min 3/Max 4 Girls Field Hockey Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Rise Field Hockey's mission is to teach the game of field hockey and give athletes opportunities in this exciting sport! Former collegiate field hockey players help kids work on fundamentals and game concepts in a competitive, fun environment. Practice is held once a week with games on Saturday between 9:30-11A. Equipment required: stick, mouth guard, shin guards and protective eyewear. Equipment packages will be available. Min 8/Max 30 Fencing Supervisor: Chad Drue En garde! Diana Unger, a certified coach with the United States Fencing Association with more than 25 years of fencing experience, will teach you the basics of fencing. BEGINNING: Fencing requires patience, concentration, discipline, and self-awareness. Self-confidence, self-control, and emotional strength gained from this sport will lead to a healthier lifestyle. Weapons, jackets, and masks will be provided and shared among classmates.*Participants must obtain a $10 US Fencing Membership prior to the first day of class. INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED: Fencing requires patience, concentration, discipline, and self-awareness. Self-confidence, self-control, and emotional strength gained from this sport will lead to a healthier lifestyle. Weapons, jackets, and masks will be provided and shared among classmates. New this season - Intermediate level will have the opportunity to participate in competitions! *Participants must obtain a $10 US Fencing Membership prior to the first day of class. Min 4/Max 10 Classes do not meet: 10/19,11/23 Junior Golf Lessons Supervisor: Chad Drue ere is no better way to improve your game than taking lessons from a trained golf instructor. Group instruction is an excellent way to receive the essential information on how to swing and also how to putt, chip, and play the game better! Whether you are picking up a club for the first time or looking to reduce your handicap to single digits, make a great investment and take a lesson from a Professional. Each class will have a 6 to 1 ratio of students to instructor and lessons focus weekly on proper grip and posture, putting, full swing, and chipping. e Learning Center at Fresh Meadow Golf Club is located at 11302 Cermak Road in Hillside, IL.
