Beginning Birding

Birds are all around us, in our parks, yards and
even on the street. Have you ever wanted to know
more about them? Join us for this introductory
class to learn the basics of birding. You'll learn basic
silhouettes, field marks and calls. Don't forget your
binoculars because we will finish class with a short
walk to practice your new skills through Austin
Gardens! is class is appropriate for adults over the
age of 18.

Fall is a good time to start thinking about your
spring lawn. Learn what you need to do this fall
to prepare your lawn for winter so that a beautiful
green lawn will be yours next spring.

Grab your binoculars and practice your birding
skills during these leisurely walks. All levels
welcome to join in as we try to identify the
neighborhood birds. Finish the morning with
