You will learn about selecting the right succulents and how to affix a beautiful arrangement on top of a pumpkin. Fall colors shine through in these unique arrangements that you will be able to take home and enjoy for months with proper care. Min 8/Max 15 Thanksgiving Centerpieces Supervisor: Leah Pryor Create a beautiful floral centerpiece for your anksgiving table! Learn how to create a large centerpiece that will wow your guests. We will use a mixture of dried, silk, and fresh materials that will create a long lasting display in your home. Registration is required one week in advance of start date to allow class materials to be purchased. Min 6/Max 15 Wreath Making Supervisor: Leah Pryor Learn the basic skill of making your own holiday wreath with seasonal greens, dried flowers, fruits and seed pods. e simple technique can be learned in minutes and the only time-consuming part is reigning in your creativity. Take home a handmade wreath to proudly display on your door or mantle. Registration is required one week in advance of start date to allow class materials to be purchased. Min 6/Max 15 Green Gifting Workshop Supervisor: Leah Pryor Sip on some cider or coco, as you make truly unique one of a kind gis that are friendly to the environment and will surely be loved by all. Each participant will make 4 gis to take home. Registration includes one drink. Min 6/Max 12 DIY New Year's Cocktails Supervisor: Leah Pryor Looking for a way to take your New Year's Eve party to the next level? We have the workshop for you! Learn how to make your own syrups and fun garnishes to customize your cocktail creations. Min 6/Max 15 Drink to Your Health Supervisor: Susan Crane Join Sugar Beet Schoolhouse at Cheney Mansion to learn about and cra your own natural home remedies and immunity boosters. Enjoy the healing properties of nature through healing herbal teas, energizing kombucha, soothing elderberry syrup and warming spiced chai. Learn how to customize your own blends to create an arsenal of healing drinks that taste delicious. Participants will go home with recipes and customized blends. Min 8/Max 16 Quick Sketch Garden Design & Consultation Fall is the perfect time to plan your garden and transplant plants! Landscape design & garden coaching services are available at the Oak Park Conservatory every first Tuesday of the month from noon-3pm (February thru October). Bring in photos & measurements of your garden for our professionals to offer help with planting suggestions & a quick sketch as time allows. Registration required. Four, one hour time slots are available during each monthly session.
