Creative Skating
Supervisor: Kayla Fauria
Only for skaters Free Skate 1 and Above. is class
will cover creative spins, spirals, moves, jumps
and footwork. Skaters will have an opportunity
to showcase their creative side which includes
interpretive skating, connecting sequences,
combinations. e use of hoops, balls, and ribbons
will be incorporated
Min 4/Max 15
Advance Jump & Spin
Supervisor: Kayla Fauria
Prerequisite: Must receive passing permission from
the program coordinator prior to entering this level.
Building from the previous level, Advance Jump
and Spin will develop double jumps and advanced
spinning including flying camel and flying sit spin,
illusions, continuous walleys, rockers and counters
in pattern.

Tackle that Axel
Supervisor: Kayla Fauria
Prerequisite: Skaters must be currently enrolled in
Free Skate 6 and up to enroll for this class. One of
the most difficult jumps to master is the Axel Jump.
is class gives skaters the opportunity to focus on
this jump and work closely with the instructor on
the key elements necessary to achieving this jump.

Only for skaters in Basic 3 and above. is class will
cover creative and fun tricks on the ice. Skaters will
have an opportunity to showcase their creative side
which includes interpretive skating, couples, and
combinations. e use of props will be incorporated

Adult Skating Lessons
Supervisor: Kayla Fauria
e adult beginner/intermediate class is designed
for the adult new to skating. It promotes physical
fitness and improved balance and coordination
while teaching proper skating techniques. is
level introduces skating by developing falling and
recovery, forward marching, forward glides and
forward swizzles, snowplow stops, two foot turns
and gliding into dips.
