of the Oak Park Conservatory. Tours can be
modified for all ages and abilities. Please visit

Staff can help with gardening questions, plant
idenitification or disease diagnostics. Potting
service also available. (Donation suggested.)

Join us for the 25th annual Garden Walk in Oak Park
and River Forest, a self-guided tour through nine
unique gardens and one neighborhood-created place.
Tickets on sale June 1 at the Oak Park Conservatory

Discover the Elsie Jacobsen Discovery
Garden at the Oak Park Conservatory
Every Wednesday & Saturday, 10:30a-12:30p
(weather permitting)
Come explore summer and the gardens at the Oak
Park Conservatory! Hands-on activities led by our
garden docents outside in our Discovery Garden.
Learn about native Illinois ecosystems and have fun
playing in the garden! Topics include:
JUNE: Sound Exploration
We will explore many ways to make garden music
through drumming, rhythm sticks, and a sound
wall.
JULY: Water Play
Water wheels, pouring play, water flow wall with
hoses, tubes and cogs and an Archimedes screw will
be in the garden to play.
AUGUST: Fossils
Find the fossils buried in the play area, sort real
fossils and create your own fossils.
