Hot air balloons are not really used for travel anymore
but they are still exciting to see. Add a touch of
whimsy to your space with a hanging 3D version of
this unique cra. Participants will use a variety of
materials to build this mixed media sculpture.

Pop Art!

Inspired by our favorite pop artists like Warhol, Johns,
and Lichtenstein, participants will take preprinted
images of well-known products, shapes, or images
and color them using pop art techniques to create
the iconic style. Materials and instruction included.

Pony Bead Sun Catchers

Take advantage of the extra sunlight in your home
or garden. We'll use translucent pony beads melted
together to build one-of-a-kind circular sun catchers.
Add a few together to make a longer design or create
a couple for friends and family. Ages 7-Adult

3D Painting on Glass

Take a leap into the third dimension as we paint tree
landscapes from a neighboring park on three layers
of clear glass. In this one-session workshop, we will
delve into the permanence of oil paints on glass, how
to apply and manipulate the paints to capture your
unique painting style, and finally how to think about
depth and transparency to create a cohesive image
in three layers that is full of depth, interest, and life.
Your painted glass panes will finally be installed into
a shadow box style frame allowing you to further
build depth creating that magical lively quality that is
so unique to this style of glass painting. We will meet
and work in the park. In the event of foul weather, we
will work inside the Dole Center. Ages 10-Adult

Metallic Butterflies

Have you ever painted on metal? It adds a really cool
dimension to flat surfaces. Select a butterfly stencil
to trace onto our metal sheets. Cut and paint using
a variety of acrylic colors. Wings can be bent and
shaped to look like it's in flight. A wonderful addition
to your bulletin board, garden, sunroom, etc.

Hummingbird Window Clings
Friday, May 27, 6:00-8:00P
Use the light of the sun and hummingbirds to
brighten up your windows and your world! Outline in
paint to trace your designs, then add color. Clings take
24 hours to dry but can be stuck to your windows for
the world to enjoy aerward! Stencils are available
but for even more creative fun, make your own
designs. Materials and instruction included.

Felt Plant

Make a plant that will never die using felt,
embellishments, and a pot. Participants will look to
examples and the instructors suggesting to create
a 3D faux plant out of felt and extras like beads,
buttons, paper, and paint. Ages 7-Adult

Pour Painting

Come make your very own, and we'll clean up the
mess! Two canvas boards per person can be used.
We'll also provide a large variety of colors and finishes
to make your painting stand out. Ages 7-Adult

Luminous Black Glue Prints
Friday, Jun 3, 6:00-8:00P
Welcome to the art of decalcomania. is artistic
technique creates a random texture that resembles
spindly tree branches, feathery foliage, or frost
patterns. We will enhance with metallic liquid
watercolor paints and create a moody, luminous
landscape or a fun abstract that glows.
