You will learn basic painting techniques using acrylic paints with a haven of plants and flowers as your subjects! Whether you choose cacti, orchids, ferns or maybe even a bird or two, you will leave class with a painting worthy of hanging on any wall! And since it is Friday night, a small selection of wine and beer will be provided as well! ere's no better way to unwind aer a long week than with some art and wine! Min 8/Max 10 Still Lifes & Wine (21+ BYOB) Spend an evening at the Mansion with your favorite medium and wine! Choose to paint, sketch, charcoal, or pastel our set still life arrangement. You will learn basic techniques for choosing your composition, zooming in or panning out . . . as you create a masterpiece worthy of hanging on any wall! Bring your favorite bottle of wine for your Friday night out! Min 8/Max 10 Adult Ceramics Supervisor Staff: Amanda Heiman Get creative and express yourself in this ceramic program that will focus on basic wheel throwing and hand-building techniques. e instructor will provide guidance each week along with ideas for projects you can individualize: tiles, mugs, bowls, teapots, and more! All skill levels are welcome and instruction will be based on the needs of each individual participant. Continuing students are encouraged to register and use this class to further develop their skills and creativity. Clay, glazes, and firing are included in the fee. Depending on where your creativity takes you, class time allows for both wheel throwing and hand-building opportunities. Please note the studio only has 6 wheels for use during class hours. Min 4/Max 6 Adult Arts Each 4 week session will cover a different medium. In each evening class artists will create masterpieces that are sure to be wall worthy. All skill levels welcome as you get creative with other artists in the community: Section I: Drawing & Painting - rough exploring line drawings, compositions, still lifes and more, artists will gain a better understanding of fundamental drawing techniques as they sketch and plan their way to a final, painted master piece. Different media will be introduced/used. Section II: Mixed Media - You will use different materials such as fabric, paper, found objects, cardboard, chicken fence, etc. . . . to make 3D objects. Each week in this 4 week session a different project will be assigned. Min 6/Max 12 Special Interest LET'S COOK! Adult Cooks Supervisor: Poppy Vogel Chef 's Table - But you're the Chef ! Learn to cook a three course meal from professional Chef Ron Martin. Class is HANDS ON and not demonstration. Bring your favorite bottle of wine or suggestions can be made. Min 6/Max 10
