Visit our website at pdop.org/dance for information Creative Movement Supervisor: Laura Greeley An introduction to dance and movement that helps children learn how to control and use their bodies, relate to other children, and express themselves. Boys and girls will explore different ways of moving and creating through imagery and imaginative games. is program will help prepare children for a more formal dance class in the future. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 11/22, 11/23, 11/26 Beginning Ballet Supervisor: Laura Greeley An introduction to ballet for the tiny dancer makes up this exciting class. Lessons will focus on basic ballet positions, proper technique, steps and terminology, as well as coordination and rhythm. Boys and girls will learn different ways of moving their bodies as they enjoy ballet. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 11/22, 11/26 Beginning Ballet 2 Supervisor: Laura Greeley A continuation of Beginning Ballet. Dancers will continue to learn technique and skills while perfecting the ones they already know. Beginning Ballet must be taken at least twice in order to take Beginning Ballet 2, unless given permission by your instructor. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 11/21 Beginning Ballet & Tap Supervisor: Laura Greeley is class will expose your beginner to two different types of dance styles. Students will learn ballet technique, steps and terminology as well as the foundations of tap dancing. Dancers will improve their coordination and rhythm while developing these different dance styles. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 11/21, 11/23 Ballet and Tap 2 Supervisor: Laura Greeley A continuation of Ballet and Tap. Dancers will further their knowledge in these styles as well as perfecting the technique and skills they already know. Ballet and Tap must be taken at least once in order to take Ballet and Tap 2. is class will consist of 45 minutes of ballet and 45 minutes of tap. is way, students can be better exposed to both dance styles.
