Code, Play, Learn - Makers Class
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Code Play Learn is excited to offer PDOP our Maker
Class for kids. Each week students will make a
project they can bring home. Our hands-on project
approach allows kids to develop an understanding
of how motors, circuits and energy work while
building contraptions like an ArtBot, Lantern, and
Zipline Rocket Ship. We will also create projects
using our 3D carver from Inventables. Using Easel,
an image based soware design tool, students can
easily create designs that we can cut right in front
of their eyes.
Program is being held at:

is class takes a hands-on approach to
engineering, allowing students to directly engage
with basic engineering concepts through a variety
of fun and educational activities. Students will
improve their problem solving, math, and physics
skills - all while engaging in exciting building
projects. Each day focuses on a specific area of
engineering. e session will culminate in a testing
of students' final projects. Each student will receive
an award for their progress during the class.
